What I am did this summer" Current mood: awake it is summer... the cat is throwing up on the wurlitzer... the neighbors are playing the cranberries... the landlord is asleep in athick of trash bags and child skins... surrounding my black plaster panther are some hundred portraits... of fine people... i like this last round.... today i re-drew a boy icegrilling the camera in a daisy field... a reading woman in a bannnana hat a man in a skeleton marathon... and an old friend... next week we strap on the strap-ons and start recording the new subtle record... its 20,000 words are strewn about the living room as well... it looks to be a doosey...a real red monster ... "soft skulls" is a poetry record, by doseone... it includes unreleased poems from the forthcoming subtle, themselves, and 13&god records... and a few from nowhere... there are also a few classics from the records you know and may love... the recordings are crisp and antiquated, and the places these poems lead are manyfold. "softskulls" is the well worded blood run beneath the bones of doseone's many full-lengths and finished songs.
