"It's Your Thing" has been sampled by everyone from Brand Nubian, De La Soul, Funkmaster Flex, Super Cat, Madonna and more (they all used the piano line) to Casual, The Roots and many more. Also included is "It's Your Thing"'s breakbeat!

"The Edge" is most recognizable from being sampled by Dr. Dre for "Next Episode", but has also been gripped and flipped by DJ Shadow, Masta Ace and more.

"Inside You" is exclusive to this 12", does not appear on the album, and was used by Jay-Z for "Coming of Age" and Souls of Mischief for "Tell Me Who Profits" from '93 Til Infinity.
