Title: Radiance / Who's Really Listening?
Label
: Stones Throw
Genre: Minimal Wave
Format: 7" Vinyl

7" single taken from the compilation The Minimal Wave Tapes Vol. 1. Stones Throw Records never fails in resurfacing the gems of the past...

Oppenheimer Analysis' "Radiance"
is superb minimal synthwave originally released on cassette in 1982 entitled New Mexico with a limited edition of only 200 copies, recorded at the height of the Cold War and home-taping boom. Mark Lane's "Who's Really Listening?" had achieved some critical success in the early '80s and it's easy to see why given the pescient similarities to Model 500's "No Ufo" as well as Gary Newman at his best.
